Recently I closed the sale of avacomputers.com and the buyer turned out to be none other than AVADirect Inc. I guess they're trying to strengthen the association of "AVA" and computer hardware. Anyways the domain is being forwarded to their main site and I believe it's not the only one which they are using in such a way.
Interestingly enough one of the largest expired domain name selling companies is selling a Trademarked name of the largest aftermarket domain sales company.
I will definitely follow the auction (with 35 participants at the moment) to see how high it goes. Wouldn't be the first or the last time that a Trademarked term is sold in a public auction, but "this time it's personal" because infringment is on one of the domain worlds's own...
It went for mid $xxx and I am very happy with the sale, because I really liked the buyer and I believe their small business will benefit from owning that domain name.
This domain had quite a few potential buyers and was really fun to sell, because I had three interested parties that I had to communicate with simultaneously. Such sales also indicate that businesses still understand the value of good fitting domain names, and nobody who is selling to "endusers" should feel too scared of recession.
Haven't added any news for a while, doesn't mean that there is nothing to report, only I have had a lot less time...
Just sold the name PleasureBoat.com, it had a great potential and several exeperienced domainers evaluated it to be worth around $2000, but in the end I sold it for less than a thousand, I think only because I was unable to contact the (IMO) possibily most interested buyer, one time got to his secretary, but infortunately I presume she didn't quite understand why it was important to forward my message to her boss.
Just a quick announcement that 79v.com has been sold. It went for $409 on Sedo, I was hoping for more, but seems like recession affects domain market as well... P.S. ei0.com and g6u.com still available at low prices. P.P.S. you know that Varren Buffet has started buying stocks, right? It means only one thing - now is the best time to invest to gain very nice profits when crisis is over...

Despite the current fall of the market Dngo.com was recently sold for $800 on Sedo. This and many other strong sales prove that the best LLLL.coms aren't really affected by the fall of lower end domain prices. Actually now may be the last possibility to invest in all premium LLLL.coms before they reach high prices affordable only to richest domainers. Also it is undeniable that the ROI will be lower later, so buying now for 300-800 there are good chances to sell a few years later for 1000-5000... My advice is to invest into best triple premiums and quad premiums if you have the funds.

As many of you know two letter domain names are no longer allowed to be registered in .com, .net or .org. But it is possible in a very few other extensions, one of which is .LV of Latvia.
